At Heddy's request I am posting a picture of the triangle cut with perm that I donned in the 80's....this picture was taken on a good day : ) Sometimes it didn't look so neat....talk about high and wide...and now it's all about flat flat flat.....
I am quite certain that dress had very wide shoulder pads too, so you can see that my hair was almost as wide as my padded shoulders....hard to believe that picture was taken almost 20 years ago...
I love that picture. A beautiful Mom and two beautiful little girls, plus a handsome Dad. A beautiful family!

I recognize that hairstyle - I wore it too =) It was hard to let go of the poufy bangs LOL That is a lovely picture memory!

I think I owned the same dress as you only mine was white with pink flowers. And yes, it had those shoulder pads! Egads!
