Today when I went to church to worship and to celebrate my rich heritage with my brothers and sisters in Christ, Doug Sauder spoke about the word COURAGE...imagine that :) I always find it amazing how my Father meets me right where I am and speaks to me...that is one of the serendipity(s) of having a personal relationship with Him...forget religion with all its dead ritual...give me relationship any day!
But listen to what I learned from Doug today: COURAGE is the root word of the word ENCOURAGE...I had never seen it! How exciting. When we encourage someone we are giving them courage to do what they may long to do or what we can see they have potential for....Wow....
I love that!
So when I got home and went to check out Today's Quote for the 21 Day Challenge I was elated to see what the quote related to.
Some of you have given me the courage to do things I've wanted to do, because you've encouraged me....THANK YOU! I appreciate you!!!
I am experiencing true SABBATH today....resting in Him and seeing His power....Hope you are too!

When we encourage, it gives people the courage...I love that!
What programs are y'all using to make these cute papers and borders?

Just one comment on something you said:
Who says ritual is dead? For me a big part of my relationship with God is worshipping him through the liturgy.
