Faith ,who is new to the blogging world, asked us to share a favorite treasure today; here is mine--a bird's nest with an empty Robin's egg in it. My husband found the nest years ago, and we found the egg and placed it with tender care in the nest when the girls were very young. It has graced our living room shelves since. It has been meaningful to me, because it has quietly spoken to me about God's love and care for me and mine throughout the years.
"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?" Matthew 6:26

That is precious. I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, how lovely! We also have a few found nests gracing our home decor. They are among my favorite posessions as well. I just love birds!;)

Yep, Mom, I'd have to agree, that bird's nest has always been one of my favorites too. When I was little I always remember being so amazed at the intricacy the bird had in weaving it's little nest.

Too often I don't take the time to ponder those details of life. Thanks for teaching me once again.
