A few days ago I received a gift from someone who signed the little note attached, "just because." I can't tell you what those two little words said to me when I read them, but I will try:
- they said we think you are worth taking the time to bless
- they said we are giving this gift to you with no strings attached
- they said tradition didn't dictate our giving this to you; our hearts did
- they said we love you....just because....not because you are smart or beautiful or you make us feel good or you have done all the right things or you are worthy
I think I experienced a little bit of heaven that day!
"For while we were still helpless, at the right time, Christ died for the ungoldy... but God desmonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
...Just because...
Another surprise "gift" our family received a few days ago was some YUMMY salsa that Jenna brought over. Although it is called black olive salsa, I can hardly taste the black olives.... I did a little digital of her salsa with the recipe if you want to try it.
