1st self portrait

After several attempts at a self portrait, I thought I would never ever get one I was happy with [my oh my...a picture says a thousand words] ...  I learned so much about angles and light.  I decided I wouldn't be trying anymore self-portraits.

Alas....

I'm eating my words...perfect or imperfect...the learning experience is far to valuable to not do it!

The trickiest part is getting the focus right...as you can see here....it fell to the right of my head.  Oh well....shows less wrinkles that way :)
