The FedX man dropped a package at my front door this morning, and I've been playing with it!!
Here's a shot with my new 85 1.8mm lens....WOW!
I am loving the color and sharpness of this lens....not to mention the yummy bokeh!!
could've used having her head turned a little more to her left...for even light....
this was shot wide open indoors and had no noise reduction applied!!...just a little pp

I love the light in at my front door....I must take at least one picture a month here....and for some reason it seems Leah always has her gray t-shirt on : )
Maybe it should become a new tradition....Leah in gray t-shirt at the door...perhaps we can see the subject and photographer's growth with each shot?
I have never ever ever thought Leah looked like her cousin Joy....but while working on this black and white conversion I kept thinking she did....
I wonder if it's because removing all color gets rid of distractions such as hair color, eye color, etc.
...a girl after my own heart....how I love working a good crossword puzzle!!
