The Old Market area of downtown Omaha is charming with its old brick and beautiful natural light...

Leah and I took a walk to the ball field today so she could hit a few balls and get a little mid summer exercise....of course these shots were taken in the middle of the bright afternoon sun....but I need the challenge....

We had a wonderful time celebrating Father's Day, Katy's birthday, acting silly, cheering Rice at the College World Series, visiting the Old Market....seeing where Katy work....watching her play on her co-ed softball team....whew....it's kind of quiet around here :)

we got home this evening and it's late, but I thought I'd post at least one picture.....so everyone who misses Katy can get a glimpse :)
